Moderation Policy

The publication standard applied to every poster contribution, written down so it can be checked.

Approval is mandatory

Every topic and reply submitted by a forum poster remains nonpublic until the administrator approves it. Pending content is excluded from public pages, Forum search, category counts, the RSS feed, the XML sitemap, and direct topic URLs.

Administrator posts may be published immediately. That asymmetry exists because there is exactly one administrator account and it belongs to the operator of the site.

Review criteria

Reviews consider topical relevance, clarity, supporting evidence, originality, privacy, safety, legality, and promotional intent.

Approval is an editorial decision about whether a contribution belongs in the public archive. It is not an endorsement of every claim inside it, and readers are expected to verify advice before acting on it.

Possible decisions

A submission may be approved, rejected with a private reason, or held while the administrator checks something. Published discussions may later be locked or removed if new information changes the picture.

Decisions are recorded in a moderation log with the account that made them and the time they were made.

Reports and enforcement

Any logged in member can report a published topic or reply, with a written reason. Reports are resolved or dismissed by the administrator.

Repeated or serious violations lead to account suspension. A suspended account cannot log in, and its pending material is not published.

No guaranteed timeline

The Forum does not guarantee an approval time, a decision, or publication at all. Most items are handled within a day.

Resubmitting the same material does not accelerate review, and a queue full of duplicates slows the decision for everyone.

Appeals and corrections

If a decision looks wrong, say so through the contact page and include the topic title and the date you submitted it.

Factual corrections to an approved post are handled the same way. Direct editing is not available, because it would change material other people have already replied to.

Questions about a decision?
