One account type for posters, one administrator, and approval before anything becomes public.
Registration asks for an email address, a display name, and a password of at least twelve characters. Nothing else is collected, and your email is never displayed next to a post.
Every public registration receives the poster role. There is no application, no waiting list, and no way for account input to request a different role.
Choose the closest category and write enough context that another practitioner could reproduce your situation in their head. A title of ten characters is accepted, but a title that names the template, the symptom, and the timeframe gets a better answer.
The moment you submit, the contribution enters a private queue. You can see it in your account with a pending status. Nobody else can, including through search, feeds, sitemaps, category counts, or a direct link.
Sani reads every poster contribution against the published moderation policy: relevance, clarity, evidence, originality, privacy, safety, and promotional intent.
Most items are reviewed within a day. Duplicate submissions do not accelerate anything, and no approval time is guaranteed.
Approved content becomes public immediately. From that point it can appear on the category page, in Forum search, in the RSS feed, in the XML sitemap, and in search engines.
Rejected content stays private in your account and keeps its status. When a specific reason applies it is recorded with the decision, so a corrected version can be submitted instead of guessed at.
Published material is not frozen. Any logged in member can report a topic or reply, and reports go straight to the administrator.
Discussions can be locked when they have run their course, contributions can be removed, and accounts can be suspended when the guidelines are ignored repeatedly.
